Whether or not you believe Cheney and Rove were guilty in the Valerie Plame matter, whether or not you believe the President was negligent in the aftermath of Katrina, and even if you believe that President Bush was A.W.O.L from the Air Force Academy only two years instead of four, there are three Truths in recent history that are no longer in dispute.

The first is Bush’s giving billions in tax breaks to the billionaires. What would have happened if he had given those tax-breaks to the working-man? The second Truth is Bush giving his Vice President billions in bid-free contracts to repair Iraq. While not a crime, this is not something an honorable President would do; and again, what would have happened if these contracts had been offered to working America? Bush has since added to this blight on Americanism by giving Halliburton, without bid, Katrina restoration as well. And the third truth is the most dishonorable of all, the Iraq War. History has proven there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Bush / Cheney knew this when they invaded. The “smoking gun,” the “mushroom cloud,” were lies to dupe America into supporting this mindless, evil war. There was no terrorism in Iraq before America invaded, and Saddam Hussein was never a threat to our safety.

It’s easy to be duped, especially by someone you trust, but a true American will admit a mistake and then do everything in their power to correct it. Not only must we remove the leaders who are destroying everything we stand for, we must make sure a scourge such as the Bush regime never happens again in America.
